Task Catcher is a very useful utility, which keeps the computer in full control of its users. The program is very effective in monitoring the various programs and processes running on the user's computer. The application not only protects the computer from malicious and harmful programs but also restarts the important programs automatically. The user can also use Task Catcher to terminate unwanted programs temporarily in order to free up such system resources as RAM and CPU usage. The application allows users to add important programs into the Favorite list and the unwanted ones into the Black List. While the programs in the Favorite list will be re-launched after an application crash, the blacklisted programs do not even have a chance to be launched at all. Another advantage of using the Task Catcher Application is that its Black List may be set up on a user basis. Therefore, a particular program can be set as a Black Listed one if the administrator considers it inappropriate for some users such as children. |
